BBQ Shrimp
Barbecue Shrimp Ingredients
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1⁄8 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
½ cup plus 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ cup chicken broth
¼ cup beer, room temperature
How to Make BBQ Shrimp
Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. In a large heavy-bottomed skillet, over medium heat, combine ½ cup butter, garlic, and the Worcestershire sauce. Add the dry ingredients while stirring. Add the shrimp, the remaining 5 tablespoons of butter, the chicken broth, and the beer. Cook and stir for 1 minute, until shrimp is no longer opaque. Serves 4 to 6.
Recipe Notes: Serve with crusty bread.
